Women in Tech Week
About Women In Tech Week
Women in Tech Week is back for 2026—bigger, bolder, and more impactful.
Following the success of Women in Tech Week in 2024 and 2025 – which has delivered over 80 events across 20 cities and supported by more than 100 organisations, WeAreTechWomen is proud to bring this nationwide initiative back for its third year. Timed once again to coincide with Ada Lovelace Day, the week-long celebration champions the advancement of women in technology and puts their progression firmly back on the national agenda.
Despite progress, systemic challenges remain. Our Lovelace Report with Oliver Wyman revealed that women are exiting the tech industry at twice the rate of men, contributing to a costly talent drain for the UK economy. With only 21% of the tech workforce made up of women, and as the government pushes to scale the AI and digital workforce, now is not the time to lose momentum.
Women in Tech Week 2026 will once again offer a dynamic programme of in-person, virtual and hybrid events – ranging from keynotes and panels to fireside chats and interactive workshops. Hosted by leading sponsors and partners, these sessions provide valuable opportunities to learn, connect, and grow. Whether you’re advancing your career, pivoting into tech, or looking to empower your workforce, this week is designed to support you.
The week will feature diverse and inspirational speakers sharing industry trends, and practical advice for career development, while providing a powerful platform for organisations to demonstrate their commitment to inclusion and talent development within the tech sector.
Join us as we continue to celebrate, support, and accelerate the careers of women in technology – because progress happens when we come together.
