Join us for the official launch of Women in Tech Week at Barclays — a week dedicated to learning, connection and celebration for women working in technology.
The event will open with a keynote from Dr Vanessa Vallely OBE, award-winning entrepreneur, author, and founder of WeAreTechWomen. Vanessa will share insights from the recently released Lovelace Report, which highlights the £2–3.5 billion annual cost of losing women from UK tech roles and explores the systemic barriers that continue to hinder their progression.
Following the keynote, Amy Williams, Head of Core Infrastructure Platform, Barclays, will facilitate a panel with senior technology leaders, Becky Pinkard, Managing Director, Global Cyber Operations, Barclays; Meggy Chung, Managing Director, Head of Global Enterprise Data Platform, Barclays and Deborah O’Neill, UK Head of Performance Transformation and Partner, Oliver Wyman delving deeper into the findings of the report — discussing the ongoing challenges faced by women in the sector, as well as the actions organisations must take to accelerate change.
The event will close with a networking session, providing the opportunity to connect with peers and leaders from across the tech industry.
Don’t miss this powerful opening to a week designed to empower and connect women in tech.
